Nigerian Team, INCOGNITO has won the Inaugural #worldconnected Series 2020 (Sub-Sahara Africa Community Tournament) played on the Call of Duty Mobile.
The #worldconnected Series which is part of the activities to mark the one year anniversary celebration of the Global Esports Federation (GEF) was coordinated by the Lagos ESports Forum (LESF) who are the official presenting partner for the Sub Sahara Africa region.
The Tournament which featured 32 teams from 11 countries saw an all Nigerian final with INCOGNITO beating ZERO REMORSE 3-0 in the best of 5 series while Mauritius’ DRACO SOLEM came from behind to defeat SNOW WOLVES of Nigeria 2-1 in the 3rd Place Playoffs.
The Top 8 Teams will share the $5,000 prize pool with the Champions going home with $2,000.
