Global Esports Federation Appoints Founder of Lagos Esports Forum To Commissions

Founder and CEO of Africa’s Leading Full service Esports Organization, the Lagos ESports Forum (LESF), Sayo Owolabi has been appointed to Commissions of the Global Esports Organization (GEF).

The Lawyer and Sportspreneur with over a decade experience in Sports Media and Marketing, was named on the Education, Culture & Youth as well as the International Relations & Development Commissions of the GEF.

In a letter from the GEF Secretariat to convey the appointment, the President, GEF Board and the Chief Operating Officer acknowledged his contribution to the growth and development of Esports in Africa and see him as a valuable addition in expertise and experience in the growth of Esports gbobally.

Speaking on the appointment, Sayo appreciated the President, Board and COO of the GEF for the opportunity to further contribute to the growth of Esports globally from the African perspective and said he’ll continue to advocate for the entrenchment of Esports Education in various ecosystems as that is the catalyst for growth. He further renewed his commitment to the values of the GEF in shaping a #worldconnected.
