Lagos Esports Forum Takes Disciplinary Action Against Team Corrupt Vortex

The Executive Board of the Lagos ESports Forum (LESF) has taken disciplinary action against Nigerian CoDM team Corrupt Vortex following their violation of one of the rules of the ongoing Africa Mobile Community Liga (AMCL).

Following an allegation against Corrupt Vortex in their season opener against Cryptic Demons for fielding an ineligible player, the AMCL Management team carried out a due diligence which involved questioning the player in question and the team manager.

The feedback from this was then assessed by the LESF Board who found the defence quite unsubstantiated and therefore decided to ban the player from the League and also deduct 12 points from Corrupt Vortex.

According to the AMCL League Commissioner, Ife Akintaju, all teams and players had at the point of registration been warned to play by the rules and that failure to do so will incur some sanctions and this is what has been meted out to Corrupt Vortex now and will hopefully serve as deterrent to other teams.

The Africa Mobile Community Liga (AMCL) is Sub-Sahara Africa’s premier mobile gaming league powered by the Lagos ESports Forum (LESF) and proudly sponsored by social gifting platform TIPP NG.
