Since the launch of Facebook Level Up program, where it supported gamers streaming their gameplay, many had questioned why their region or countries were not eligible.

In Africa, the region had only Morocco and Egypt eligible for the Level Up program.

Stakeholders in the ecosystem opened conversations about why gamers in other countries in the region were ineligible especially when Africans were huge Facebook users.

Recently Facebook updated the eligible countries for the program and Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa we included.

This has sent excitement to gaming communities whose countries have just been added to the list. Many believe it is a step in the right direction by Facebook gaming and are hoping more countries in Africa get added.

Gamers in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa can now monetize their content and build a career as well as grow their communities at Facebook Gaming.
