Nigeria’s Team Slime4KT Wins Pubg Mobile Club Open – Spring Split 2021: Africa

As esports continues to grow in Africa with communities and tournaments, the ecosystem is begining to gain interest internationally.

One of the biggest and consistent community in the region has been the Pubg Mobile. The community has enjoyed alot of attention from local tournament organizers as well as international such as the Red Bull M.E.O.

The recent interest in the community is the Pubg Mobile Club Open – Spring Split hosted by Tencent Games and Pubg Corporation.

For the the first time in the history of the Pubg Mobile Club Open, Africa was given a platform for its pubg mobile gamers to participate in regional qualifiers.

After 5 intense weeks where a final 32 battled for the championship spot, Team Slime4kt emerged winners of the region.

Slime4Kt who are a household name in the community added the club open victory to the numerous titles.

As Africa’s winners, asides going home with a cash prize, the team will be moving on to the regional finale where winners from all other regions will be present to battle for an overall winner.
