In the past and recent time, as esports grows with global tournaments, Africa keeps getting passed for representation.

Many esports stakeholders in Africa have wondered the reason for such exclusion, with no adequate reasons given by tournament organizers.

Finally an international tournament has given Africa its deserved opportunity to compete with the rest of the world.

Africa will be participating in the EFA (Electronic Football Association) U21 World Cup. The EFA, is an international organization of esports, Proclubs / FIFA, with the purpose of helping in the growth and expansion in all the participating countries, always with objective and transparency, seeking the valorization of the players and all the involved.

Africa will be represented by Angola, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Morocco and Tunisia. The tournaments starts on the 17th of May, 2020. The African giants have interesting match ups as they start their campaign to eWorld Cup glory.
