Africa Gears Up For E-Ligue 1 Tour Season 2

2023 is off to a flying start, with many esports tournaments already lined up.

The most recent is the return of e-ligue tour, which kicks off in February. The e-ligue tour, which was launched in 2022 is a FIFA22 hybrid event, where gamers in selected regions and countries will play online qualifiers for a chance to be in France for the grand finale.

Like season 1, the upcoming edition will see the tour pass through some African countries. Countries in the region participating are Senegal, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Cameroun, and Morocco.

The tour in Africa kick-off in February with LAN qualifiers, winners in each country will play in the finals in France in April and have a chance to win from the 10,000 Euro prize pool.

Winners from each region will be paired against winners of season one, in a group and finals format to determine the overall champion.

The event is hosted by Freaks 4u Gaming and the French football league, Ligue 1.
