With stakeholders in the African esports space working towards synergy with one another, different Pubg mobile communities on the continent have come together for one unified tournament. This tournament represents one of the game titles in the proposed African esports championship, which focuses on showcasing African unity in esports.

The tournament themed “La Cup D’Africana” will feature 10 founding countries, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Morocco, South Africa, Cote d’Ivoire, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, and Rwanda. Additional countries interested in participating will fall into the wild card category during the fixtures.
The tournament will be a 5 week long and will feature 96 African PUBGM teams battling it out in four (4) phases: Group stages, Quarter Finals, Semi-finals and The Finals.
This unified tournament has sent excitement down the spine of mobile FPS (First Person Shooter) players around the continent. The acceptance of such unity has seen prize pool increase from $500 to $1000.
Popular content creator, Twitch and YouTube partner, MrXflip, who has been a huge supporter of pubg mobile in Africa will be the official streamer for the tournament.

The event is schedule to start with regional qualifiers on March 28th.
