King of the Castle PES vs FIFA tournament announced

The PES Society (with partners Zombiegamer) has announced the ‘King of the Castle’ event. Featuring both FIFA 20 and PES 2020, the tournament aims to discover Cape Town’s best virtual soccer (or football) player.

The tournament is being hosted at Cape Town’s Castle of Good Hope on 22 February from 12pm. Along with bragging rights; there is a variety of prizes up for grabs. Cash, vouchers, products and merchandise are all on the line. Entry is a reasonable R80 to compete. Walk-ins will be accepted, but there is a player cap of 64.

Competitors should be prepared to compete in both titles on the day. Remember, you can customise your controller layout…

You can register to compete via the PES Society website. The tournament will be played on PlayStation 4. All tournament equipment will be supplied, but if you are keen to bring along your own controller, feel free to do so.

1st Place: R1,000 cash + football jersey + PES jersey + PES ball + Fives Futbol voucher + Fives Futbol t-shirt
2nd Place: Gaming headset + PES jersey + PES ball + Fives Futbol voucher
3rd Place: PES jersey + PES ball + Fives Futbol voucher
