In an effort to develop the esports industry in Ghana with one unified front, a new management has been formed.
The proposed esports Ghana structure had positions opened for stakeholders to express interest.
This bidding was later put into a vote for stakeholders to elect their leaders.
After the election process, Kwecy Hayford, the president of Ghana esports association had this to say about the new leadership.
“I am excited about the new faces of esport in Ghana. Everything rides or falls on leadership. It is the leadership who makes decisions on how big esports will become. I have no doubt that this new leadership will take Ghana to the heights it can achieve in Africa and the World.”
