FIFA21: Ivory Coast and Morocco Represents Africa In French ELigue1 Tour

It is no news that traditional sport teams and leagues have started adopting esports as part of their structures.

For instance the NBA and the MLS in the United States both have an esports versions of their leagues. Each team in the league have esports players representing them.

The recent esports adoption by traditional sports is the French Ligue one. The official french football league in the country.

Ligue one in partnership with UberEats will be hosting a FIFA 21 eligue1 tour with invitationals from 6 countries. The participating countries will run qualifiers in their respective countries and winners will represent their countries in a grand finals in France, 8-9th May 2021.

On the list of the tour countries, Africa will be represented by Ivory Coast and Morocco.

FIFA 21 players in both countries can register to here take part in the qualifiers.

Building up to the finals in France, Paradise Gaming in Ivory Coast, who are the officiating partner of the eligue1 tour, took to twitter to announce the event and the date of their qualifiers.
