Africa has won the e-ligue 1 tour championship, with Senegalese FIFA pro player, Dexx Jr, as the winner. The tournament is an esports event launched in 2021 and represents the international development strategy of the French Ligue 1 Uber Eats, which is one of the priorities of the LFP and its clubs. In the 2023 edition of the tournament, gamers from various regions participated, including North America, the Middle East, Western & Central Africa, Latin America, and Morocco. The event was a combination of online and physical events, where winners from each location assembled in Paris, France, for the Grand Finale.
