From the World connected series to Mobile game tournament to the Africa Mobile community Liga, the CoD mobile community in Africa continues to enjoy attention as they grow.
The community continues to produce teams and skillful players who showcase themselves every week.
Last weekend, the CoD mobile sub-Saharan community held an All Star Weekend which was hosted by Zero Remorse, one of Africa’s power house teams.
The All Star Weekend saw players irrespective of their teams, represent their country of origin instead.
The event produced 8 nations; Nigeria, Ghana, Mauritius, Kenya, Zambia South Africa, Tanzania and Senegal battle it out in a direct elimination format.
At the end of an intense 2 day action, Team Nigeria emerged winners of the tournament. Nigeria edged out South Africa in the finals while Mauritius won Kenya in the third place match.
A nation based tournament sent excitement through the community as fans and viewers bantered for their various countries in the live stream.
Speaking to a few gamers, they were all excited about the initiative and hoped more countries participated in the coming future.
