The Fighting gaming community in Africa continues to grow with existence of more community tournaments.
The South eastern part of the region has stood out as a powerhouse for the community. The region has produced gamers like Queen Arrow, Mr 5000, Killjoy, just to mention a few.
One of Africa’s prestigious esports organizations, Console Gaming League just concluded its Mortal Kombat Konsole Kombat South-Eastern Africa tournament.
The event presented the finest gamers in the region going at it for 5 interesting weeks. At the end of the tournament, Zambia and Team Gematrix’s golden boy, Mr 5000 emerged winner.
Bobgranthill from Kenya and Chimbamutale from Zambia came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The winners of Season 1 will share a prize of $500 proudly sponsored by Console Gaming League and Matcherino.
