When discussing esports in Africa, brand partnership and sponsorship has been a subject of discussion among communities.

Many stakeholders are still trying to unlock what can interest brands to jump into esports.

Although, a few brands have seen opportunities in the industry and have started collaborating. An example is KFC and Wema Bank in Nigeria sponsoring the Mobile Game Tournament hosted by The AfroGamer and Lagos Esports Forum.

When identifying such brands, it is no news that Techxhub are one of the leading technology brands supporting the industry.

Techxhub have been sponsors to numerous tournaments from different communities on the continent.

This time the technology company will be hosting an online invitational esports tournament tagged Africa Community Cup.

Techxhub has partnered with Esports organizations in Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe to execute the event.

The event is scheduled for August 27-30, and titles to be played are PUBG Mobile, Mortal Kombat 11 and FIFA 20.

Any community that plays the listed titles on the continent are eligible to participate in the tournament.

Gamers will be battling it out for prize products such as

– Artics 1 wireless headphones
– Nimbus + controller
– Stratus duo controller
– PUBG mouse pad

Fans can catch live games on Esports Nigeria’s twitch channel.
