Excitement and Prizes at the LG OLED In-Store Gaming Challenge Finale in Lagos
The grand finale of the LG OLED In-Store Gaming Challenge was an event full of fun, competition, and exciting prizes. Held at the LG Electronics brand shop in Lekki, Lagos State, the finale marked the end of five thrilling weeks of esports action.
Over 200 gamers from across the city competed in the popular EA FC24 game, all vying for the top spot. After intense competition, 16 finalists emerged from the qualifiers, battling it out to be crowned the ultimate champion.
Paul Mba, Senior Marketing Manager, LG Electronics West Africa Operations, explained that the challenge was created to showcase the superior qualities and functionalities of the LG OLED TV, making it the best choice for gamers. Additionally, the event provided a platform for gamers to gain exposure and prepare for larger competitions both on the continent and globally.
In the final showdown, Ifeanyi Esenwa, known by his gamer tag “Boyd,” emerged as the champion. He won the grand prize of a 55-inch LG OLED TV, a gold trophy, and the coveted bragging rights. The runner-up, Flick, received a 43-inch LG UHD TV, while Afolarin Teluwo, who finished third, took home an LG LK72B Speaker. Numerous other prizes were also awarded to gamers and fans in attendance.
